campUS: Positively Influencing Transition for Teens with Hearing Loss
June 9- June 10, 2017
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors….Whether your future plan is to become an OSU Buckeye, attend college at another University or Technical College, or enter the workforce; the fourth annual campUS experience is an event you will not want to miss. Connect with teens who have hearing loss all over Ohio while meeting your “campUS counselors” who also have hearing loss. Get ready for an overnight campus learning experience that will be fun, meaningful, and engaging.
Parents!! We know that you have questions about life after high school for your child with hearing loss. We have an excellent panel of presentations that will answer many questions that you have about the transition process…..topics include IEP transition, independent living, scholarships, and much more. In addition, we have a fun, relaxing social event planned for Friday evening.
Professionals!! Success in high school and post-secondary school depends on a solid transition plan for the IEP. Register for Professional One Day training that will get you up to speed.
